I love the style, capacity & look. However the lid gasket isn’t fully sealed which makes it hard to close & keep vacuum sealed. 1st use and it did not stay hot even warming it before with hot water.

It holds at least 10 cups of coffee hot for more than 5 hours! Very well made. Would make a great gift too!

It does not keep cold near as well as it ought to. The lid came apart for no reason after about 3 months of use. The lever for releasing the liquid to pour was not easy to use and took some getting used to. Due to it breaking I am going to try to return it.Buy a different one is my advice.UPDATE With some experimentation I managed to reassemble the lid and it functions OK now. I do not know why it came apart or what caused it, but I put it back in use and after 4 days is still functioning OK. Due to that I changed the rating from 2 stars to 3

I live in Florida and ordered this in anticipation for hurricane Milton. We typically lose power and as this storm was going to still be going strong on Thursday morning I knew my husband and I would need coffee and it would be too windy to fire up the propane stove we have, so I ordered this hoping it would do a good job keeping coffee warm making it before we lost power.It didn't disappoint, I ended up making our coffee around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon as we were already experiencing high winds and wanted to make sure I made it. As it turned out we never lost power but when we did have coffee at 7:00 am Thursday coffee was still hot. It says 12 hours of hot and I can tell you it definitely goes longer than 12 hours. Now it wasn't burn your mouth hot still, but it was perfectly acceptable and we do creamer in our coffee. I tasted it without creamer first and it was hot. I definitely would recommend this, the price is very reasonable and for what we bought it for it's definitely a life saver.
