This was a step up for me from my mason jar sprouting system. Those required rinsing twice a day and there was a very small window of time between ready to eat and the jar is so stuffed full of overgrown sprouts that I can’t get them out. I’ve got a small garden of micro greens going on shelving in our upstairs mechanical room now, and I love it. The seeds for sprouts are easy to find on Amazon and I love all kinds of sprouts, but broccoli especially. Just snip and eat! It’s amazing how quickly they grow (and regrow). I’m thrilled with this and pleased with the sturdiness of the trays— they don’t collapse on me when I snag one and haul it down to the kitchen. All you’ll need is a good mister and seeds. And go light on the seeds to start with until you see how densely and quickly they grow.

It may have been the seeds, but this mat seemed to be too dense for the seeds to sprout

I was doing sprouts before and started this for microgreens instead and love it.Grows super fast and easy.Easy to dispose of the mat as well and reuse the plastic containers.Great product!

These trays are perfect for a single family to use. You can take some of those trays and drill holes in them and they will work for the seeding tray.

I didn’t like the functionality of these trays as far as starting the size of the trays, obviously they could be bigger. It’s a good price for the money. they’re good to start your seeds. They’re easy to use nothing that I didn’t like about them is the pads promote mold growth. You have to put the holes in the bottom of the trays so they can drain yourself. They should already come like that one with holes and one without so we can go on top of that one and drain properly. I didn’t like the pads at all. They seriously promote mold growth from my experience.

This is my review of Mofuiry 6Set Microgreens Growing Mat with Tray. I find these trays and mats to do a great job growing my sprouts. The best features to me are the organic nature of the product and the fact I do not need to constantly rinse the seeds as you would have to do in the jar type sprouting system. The first greens I planted are growing quickly and look good. This product has met my expectations; therefore, I am rating it 4 stars.
