I replaced plastic bridge pins in my ukulele with these ebony pins. The sound went from plunky and dead sounding, to very clear and rich, but not mellow. Flight Ukes have smaller pin holes than a guitar, but being wood I was able to slightly sand down the pin to fit. Be careful to file evenly around, and test the pin as you go, so as not to remove too much wood or flatten part of the pin. Wipe off the pin and insert to test size. I will definately re-order these pins. I'm interested to see what the rosewood will sound like, if different from the ebony, as both of these woods are excellent tone woods. It may be strictly esthetics for colour that will sway my decision.
