Performs flawlessly! It fits perfectly on my Sodastream machine. My only regret is that I didn't buy it a long time ago.I like that it has a pressure gauge.

This worked great for about 10 hours. But then when I went to use it it stopped letting ang CO2 through. I narrowed down the problem to the adapter that goes into the soda machine and I believe it is the gasket. They do provide 2 extras but I replaced them and it didn't help. Now when I press the button I get a really weak puff for half a second and then nothing else. I have ensured the bottle is open and the hose is pressurized. It just won't go when I press the button.Edit: I took the first apart and found a o-ring had somehow plugged up the fitting. I removed it and it works again without letting. If yours stops working definitely check all the connections.

I am glad I spend a few dollars on this product and the Co2 tank.

I’m a home beer brewer so I already have lots of CO2 tanks. I had been filling Sodastream tanks from CO2 tanks, but it’s a pain and the sodastream tanks don’t last long. I filled a 5lb unused CO2 tank and used this on it. Setup was easy and quick if you are already familiar with CO2 tanks. The parts seem high quality. The only negative is the hose is very stiff, but it should be when working with high pressure gas.The other downside is having a CO2 tank isn’t practical or attractive for sitting on the kitchen counter, so ideally you have somewhere you can hide the whole thing.

Recently purchased a Ninja Thirsti but had no interest in perpetually purchasing the small compatible tanks. This hose allows us to connect it to a 5lb CO2 tank that we can have filled locally for You definitely need a socket set to tighten the adapter to your sparkling water maker, and a wrench to tighten the line to your CO2 tank. The adapter comes with washers/seals installed as well as a full set of replacements for when they go bad. They should not wear out quickly as you don't need to be repeatedly connecting and disconnecting the line, only when the tank is empty. I did not have a deep socket large enough for the black part of the adapter, but was able to tighten it by twisting the silver air hose quick connect.

Compared to the valve built into canisters, excessive pressure is necessary to open this valve and the action is sudden, with full open high pressure, instantly blowing open the relief valve of the carbonator. It is awkward and seemingly wasteful, causing unnecessary venting of CO2.The design would be better with symmetrical/identical size fittings on each end of the hose, allowing the gauge to be placed much more conveniently in the carbonator, rather than only possible at the large CO2 cylinder which often is not easy to see.

I followed all the directions, installed the washers as instructed in the manual, but the joints leaked profusely. Had to return it.
