I’m impressed with the quality of this tracksaw rail. My saw moves along the rail smoothly, and I was able to connect it (with the included connectors) to the OEM rail for my saw.There are just a few differences between this rail and OEM version. The latter is 1400mm long and this one is 1401; the foam strips on the bottom feel harder than the OEM; the green glide strips run to the end of the rail vs stopping short as on the OEM rail. Lastly, the OEM comes with the splinterguard installed; however, this one comes with enough material to do two rails or to replace a splinterguard if necessary. The included connectors are much shorter than either the OEM version or the after-market connectors I have. But I found the connection they made to be fine, and my saw traveled from rail to rail without a problem.This is a great value for someone looking for another rail & connectors to enable cutting an 8 foot piece of plywood.

Pretty nice. The Festool color looks right. The include joiners don't interest me.... they are the same style that doesn't align the tracks as straight as cabinet making requires without using a straight edge when tightening the grub screws or a Betterly alignment tool. I am aware of one superior design on the market now. I don't joint tracks these days anyway but I may someday again.One of my ratcheting track clamps fit quite tightly in both directions and would not slide all the way into the bottom slot. I have 4 different brands. the DeWalt ones slid just fine. The others are in a box somewhere.You don't need to buy name brand tracks anymore for this track format. Makita style tracks are compatible with Festool style ones but ever so slightly different. Either will work with several brands of saw and the better knockoff tracks will produce equally good results. I'd be wary of stuff like bargain track squares and parallel guides though if perfect cuts are your objective.

bosch 18v profactor track saw, kreg adaptive table, this now this rail. My thin mafell, bosch track which I like doesn't work the best with bench dogs on a table. Since the bosch is compatible with this track as well as it's own i used it to keep my bosch tracks free for breaking down large sheets or mobility. This rail is a bit short to use the kreg rail mounts, I made mine work but usually don't use that anyways, instead relying on bench dogs.Seems like a good track, i'm not a track snob i just need it to be straight which this is. Picky festool users would probably prefer a green guide strip instead of red, i haven't attached mine yet. Key to attaching strips is use isopropyl alcohol to clean the track, then use a j-roller to make sure they adhere well.

Full disclosure, I received this item as part of Amazon's Vine Program in exchange for an honest review, good or bad. This track arrive flawless with no imperfections. Initially, it looks almost identical to my Festool track. It has good grip and holds on to the wood well. It also seems flat and perfectly straight. It works just as well as the Festool track tool, ...after to finish assembling it.My only issue with it is the guide strip was not installed from the factory. It looks like a replacement guide strip they just threw in the box. And it is RED, so it doesn't match the look of Festool. The guide strip is as crooked and warped as a 2x4 from big box store - it is not remotely straight! I had to fight to get it to line up with the track. In the picture on Amazon, the guide strip was nicely coiled up so it would stay flat and not warp. I found it left like a giant snake in the box, so of course it was going to warp in the back of a hot tractor trailer.They did include twice as much as you need so you have a replacement should you need it. My biggest issue is that it was not preinstalled. I should not have to install the strip on a brand new track. That should have been done at the factory. Once you take the time to fix it though, it is a great track though, even it the red makes it look like Christmas.
