I melted down several soda cans for the aluminum. Put it in the ingot cast and it melted a hole right through the cast. I got two uses with tin, one with lead, one with aluminum, and then the second aluminum broke it. Very disappointed with the quality.Crucible seems to be holding up, but pieces flake off every time I grip it with the tongs. Tongs are holding up fine so far.

Tongs look nice, crucible looks banged up. I really needed the mold more than anything. Was hoping to use my furnace this weekend but…….. not any more. Disappointing to say the least. Hopefully the replacement comes complete and the mold doesn’t look as rough as the crucible did.Doing a return and hopefully the replacement will be completely shipped. Will do another review when the full product is shipped, received and testedThe return and replacement was fast. Would do business again
