A LITTLE RESEARCH ON GOOGLE WILL CONFIRM THESE FACTS. To assure that you get the finest quality, the protective sleeve is kept in place on the rod while being cut to protect the acrylic. Rod has saw cut edges on both ends. Please allow a length tolerance of +/- 1/16" on all pieces.

Trying to return and get a refund not as simple as with other vendors. Ended up just keeping the item. Should have read better before buying.

I used it to secure my slightly too large clear turntable cover so it would stay on my turntable. It worked brilliantly.

I thought I knew what I was doing with these when I ordered them. It didn't take long for me to question my intended purpose for these. Within a day or two, I dismissed my plan entirely.These dowels, rods, sticks, or clear square acrylic trim strips, are oddly satisfying. They're great for jabbing people and things. They're flexible enough to bend considerably without breaking. The square shape from extruded acrylic apparently is never perfectly square due to the way it sets, forming slightly concave sides. I didn't notice this at all though - they seemed perfectly square shaped. I used them as a straight edge to trace straight lines which was satisfying to do with these because they're transparent.They'd make good plant stakes to keep a plant growing upright. They're good for arts and crafts. They could be nice as part of a display or stand, or even used to support a display stand. They'd work well for creating centerpieces, and would look nice for anything requiring or benefitting from lighting elements, or water features since these are clear.Since abandoning my original plan for these, I have no clue what I'm actually going to use these for and I've started to even forget why I bought them to begin with. Since I don't really remember what direction I was going in when I first got them, I've found many applications for them over several weeks and they have come in handy many times.Just yesterday, I used one to scratch an itch on my back and my ankle. Earlier this evening, I used one to jab a close friend who drank from my martini without asking. I ordered rather long / large ones so they aren't exactly convenient to have at hand, but they are enjoyable to have around, especially as a bundle, though I'm not at all sure why.
