Couldn't get them on my handlebars. I returned but amazon said they were lost and still charged me even after dropping at whole foods.

Picked these up as a decoration more than anything else. They went on easily (after soaking in some warm water and using a bit of WD40). They look good and feel good on the brake levers also. I'd imagine that they provide a better grip if using your bike for some serious off road riding. Since mine is a neighborhood cruiser, they are more eye candy than utilitarian.

This product had not odor. It fits well on my Electra Townie bike handbrakes. I did do as instructed for ease of installation: I soaked the lever protectors with open end up in very warm water. I did not let water in the opening of the protectors. I was able to manuever them onto the brake grips. The blue color is very pretty.
