STEP 1
Drill a hole in the floor.
STEP 2
Place the post base in the corresponding position.
STEP 3
Prepare an anchor of the right length, screw it into the previously drilled hole and tighten it.
STEP 4
Put the wood in and tighten the screws to secure the wood.

The folds were correct, easy to install.Needs to be thicker wall steel, as it is too flimsy.I would pay more for thicker wall steel (heavier gauge steel)

These fit 4x4 posts (actual measure is 3.5 x 3.5) and are easily adjustable and work well. The standoff lifts the post off the ground to prevent rotting. In COVID these became outrageously expensive (like a lot of things) but never seemed to return to earth. The 1X price of these is outrageous, but the 10X price is considerably less than the home improvement stores.

These 4x4 post mounts are an imitation of a simpson bracket, but they aren't as good. They certainly aren't for single post applications, but I personally wouldn't even use these for a pergola - their ideal application.

They are made out of skinny metal and they bent under the load.

It's an ok bracket but a bit expensive if you're just getting one. Installation is easy because the material is not very rigit (so it's a pro and cin depending how you look at it). It fit the 4x4 nicely...Just remember you'll also need the concrete anchors and nails or however else you plan to attach this to the beam and floor.

These work well with my 4x4 deck posts. They keep the wood off the floor, which prevents water intrusion, making the wood last longer. It also detours termites. It installs quickly with just a few screws. The post is sturdy and won’t move under normal use.
