We put a few 4 x 4 post for a slide in our playroom inside our house. These are actually exactly what we needed as they help secure the 4 x 4 posts and level out the slide to distribute the way evenly they hold it in place and then secure to the ground firmly, it’s easy to screw to the subfloor and I could see they be easy to use outside with large stakes or screws. They are very good quality and the metal and welds are all very well done the paint is powder coated, and will sustain Weather and heavy use

This is a great solid made product, it is easy to use and fits a 4x4 post well, good price for an easy install and durability of the product

Although P.T. 4x4's are often larger than 3.5", it's easy enough to plane them down a little. However these bases are too large to fit inside a (very thin) 4" x 4" O.D. post sleeve. If the corners were not such a tight 90° bend (or my sleeves were a sharper 90°) they might just barley fit. Next problem is the post sleeve base trim will not quite fit over the bottom plate by about 1/16", and because even if the sleeve did fit, it would be so tight that all four sides would have to be ground down, primed, and re-painted. If I wasn't using post sleeves, these get 4 stars; 5 if the paint was a few mil.s thicker.

This are nice qualithy and worked well but have been up for less than a week and screws and base show some rust. We ordered the black and will repaint. i am sure they will be fine. They look very nice.

The product itself is a bit flimsy and the supplied screws and hardware rusted overnight. I will have to replace hardware almost immediately. Very disappointed.

This is one solid steel fence post bracket with screws and detailed instructions. We are redoing some fence posts and this fit perfectly. Made of solid steel and powder coated to resist rusting and weather, these should last much long than our old brackets which were starting to rust. Only fits 4x4 posts so make sure you have the right size. To install you have 8 screws on the body and 4 on the bottom to keep your post very secure. I think our fence will be standing up much longer now!
