This material was purchased to manufacture rollers of 3-in length. However, four sticks were all at about a quarter inch undersized, which caused me to lose almost 25%. I run a machine shop, and most material is generally slightly over in order to permit clean up. Although the price per linear foot was favorable, there was a significant loss for The short sticks.
