These were exactly what I was looking for. The only issue I have is the concrete anchors are pretty much useless. I opted to use low profile concrete bolts, much more effective and exponentially easier to install.

These are so heavy duty and sturdy! But, I inadvertently ordered the wrong size. I needed 4 x 4 and ordered 6 x 6. My son is a steel worker and I sent them home with him to cut down to the size I need, so it won't be a problem and I will still use them. I don't have them back yet, but before I sent them over, I put them around the 4 x 4 posts I need to secure to see how well they will secure the posts and what they will look like. I am using them inside my house around an overlook I decided to surround with a railing. It is somewhat industrial and modern. I wrapped the posts in drywall and though they are already anchored, they are not as secure as I would like. Once they are anchored with these post bases, they aren't going to budge! Plus, they are going to have a nice accent of black at the base, which I hadn't planned, but we'll just call that a happy accident. There is only subfloor in that area, so we'll put down flooring over the overhang of the bases once they are installed to give them a clean look. I'm so glad I found these! When I was looking for post anchors when these were initially installed, I didn't find anything nearly as heavy duty and sturdy as these. I guess I'm glad because the visual appeal is going to elevate my final project, as well as improve the strength and integrity of the railing. I'm not worried about anyone leaning on the railing, once these are installed.

These brackets work great for my 6x6 post comes with hardware for concrete and wood. Thanks for making this product. I will order again when i build the back porch.

loved the bases, the anchors are soft mush, do yourself a favor and invest in real concrete anchors

I have used these on 4x4 and 8x8 for porches. Mounted these to concrete, but prefer different anchors without the sleeve on them. Overall i will keep purchasing them for mounting posts.
