You might have to cut some plastic on your kayak's rail-mount (I did), so that the long "washer" piece of this unit will fit into the rail.

Bought these for my Railblaza Starport bases however, the screws are too short. You cannot attach bottom, because screw ends flush to the bottom.

Have a yupik and they work on it. They are long for anything thick your trying to secure.

Screws are way too long to use it as is for my kayak rails. Had to cut the screws with a dremel to even make them fit. Other them that they do exactly what they are supposed to do.

The screws for these snapped off right off in my rails. Not one but two of them. Replace them with bolts of some quality that will NOT snap off...
