3.Pull the lock to close, check if it is in place
4.Place a parchment paper liners if you're concerned about leaking before adding batter
5.When finish baking, pull the lock way back and the bottom will release, then you will get the good shape cake

First thing upon arrival I poured water into one pan.It leaked very badly so I knew it would not hold some thin cake batters. They also were not 7x7.The height was only about 5 3/4. I returned them.

These are the cutest pans! I am planning on making mini cookie cakes and mini heart cakes for my kids to decorate. I like that the springform frame is easy to remove, leaving the perfect cake. Great size for personal creations!
