The specimens were pretty good- but it would have been good if their roots had been a tad longer.I have kept these before and keeping them down until the roots are well established can be a real battle- especially in a tank with fine substrate. The reward for going with a fine substrate is that carpeting plants get basically indefinite surface area.With this plant, should it get going, it can really carpet.

Arrived earlier than expected! Nicely packaged. Grass was a little dry on arrival (may be normal due to shipping), but all were healthy and green.Will purchase again!

The grass were in good condition I put them by the rocks. I ended up buying more because they were super healthy and look beautiful. The next batch will be going into another tank.

Love this hair grass. Easy to plant. Stays planted with sand on top of the soil and gravel mix. The cory fish did uproot a few strands. Letting them float to see if they grow longer roots for replanting. Very green when using good light. I want to do more in a couple of months. Ordered with the extra shipping cost because it is summer here. The plants came in healthy and spring green.

I recently purchased six packages of hair grass, and I'm extremely disappointed with the quality. All six packages are nearly entirely brown, with only one showing a hint of green. This is not what I expected based on the product description and photos. The overall condition of the grass is unacceptable and far from fresh. I cannot recommend this hair grass to others based on my experience. At least the Cabomba Caroliniana (The top) still has some salvageable stems.

I ordered the 3 piece hair grass. I was concerned as they arrived dry. Floated in my tanks I was placing them in for a day. All 3 are still green and looking great. Will definitely be purchasing more. Please ignore the algae & the tannins. I use the natural tank methid as I have snails and shrimp in all.
