I bought size small for my five and a half year old. They are cute and of course he loves them, but one of them looks used! It's got messed up paint all over but the other one looks new. They are also really close to being too small. I'm glad I didn't go with the extra small!

These are a good value, with a decent design that stays up pretty well and offers adequate protection. They are a fun design if you like having a sort of bat-hero torso wrapped around your shins, but kids seem to enjoy it pretty well. While these are pretty fine overall, they are soft. Most shin guards have a hard outer shell and softer foam inner pad against the shin. These are all soft, so they will not protect as well or distribute the force of kicks throughout the shin or propel a ball as well if it is mis-kicked. For practices or casual playing, these are a good, inexpensive option at under $10 (price at time of review). For competitions or games, I would look for a more traditional, hard shell shin guard.

My 7 year old step son was so excited when he saw these and loves them! Based on the picture, I was a little concerned about the possibility of large texture. Having lots of bumps or ridges could be problematic trying to control a soccer ball, but these aren't as deep and the picture may seem. Overall the quality seems like they are well made. Hopefully we can make it through the coming spring season without growing out of them haha.

Size is great for both 1yr old and 3yr old. I love that this is a hard foam on the outer shell and a softer foam on the inside. I especially love that there is padding at the ankle bones too. This slides on the outside of your socks and you wear it visible. You could wear it under socks, but youโll need some bigger and stretchy socks for that to work. Overall, quality seems good and theyโre cute and keeps my little oneโs legs well protected.

We can either leave them as is or pull a pair of long socks up over the design. I love that they were inexpensive and stay in place well. Kids are constantly growing, so I wasn't sure if we would even be playing soccer next year, but wanted to make sure he had the protection he needs to try it out at least. And for a kid obsessed with comic books, the Batman logos made them "cool to wear." After looking at other products this company offers, I'll definitely be heading to the SAGA SPORTS storefront on Amazon for additional soccer products moving forward!

Size L fits a 10-yo great! Batman-like graphic is fun. Note that both shin guards are identical, not left and right, so the back Velcro straps overlap the same. Not critical, since they will be covered by the long socks. All ready for the new soccer season now!
