I bought these for pyrography and coaster making. They're good, and sturdy. They are very unfinished which is what I prefer. Even with prepping them and sanding them, there was still an issue with the grain catching as I was tracing lines. That's why I'm giving it a 4. These were the least expensive per coaster that I could find, so the price was good.
