Great quality but couldn’t remove old cord without breaking Shark lift away vacuum. I would have had to try to splice this inside the vacuum and that could pose a fire hazard. Even professional vacuum repair shop refused to do it that way. So bought a new plug adapter and spliced that instead.

The cord is made of a really good quality wiring. I love the length. I feel that it's a great value.

I don't have much experience with taking things apart and fiddling around with the wiring, but I watched some videos on youtube about replacing the cord and was able to get it to work. I did have to go out and buy some wire nuts for the connections, but it all worked out ok and the vacuum cleaner works fine.

What do you do when the vacuum eats your power cord? You hope to find a replacement, that's what you do! And that's exactly what I did. For the second time. From the same company. Because they price their products very well, work with the customer, and ship at the speed of light! The cord is long (longer than original equipment), allowing for a greater reach with your vacuum without unplugging and plugging in again! Shark vacuums are great . . . and so is this replacement part supplier!

After my lab puppy ate my cord I ordered this. It’s so much better than the original! Not bad to install provided you have the correct tool to open your vacuum. Very long. Awesome.

Much better than the shorter original cord that my bunny chewed up. Easy install just be sure to have the correct hex bit for taking apart the vacuum.

Cord was easy to install if you have a little mechanical skill.Works great no more black marks on walls and corners while vacuuming floors.Don't understand why vacuum manufacturers wont install non marking cords on new products during the building process.

The vacuum cleaner was a pain in the arse to take apart, given I didn't YouTube it. I mean, how hard could it be? Lol The whole process took me maybe 45 min to an hour, the worst part was all the screws. The second worse part was having to splice the new cord to the base of the old one because there were 2 metal attachments that plug into the circuit board that I couldn't get off of it. I finally gave up and wrapped the two together and used electrical tape to seal everything up. It's not pretty, but it's functional and I'm fairly certain it won't light my house on fire. I'll give it 5 stars because the vacuum works again. Plus, my dog thinks the new cord is just as tasty as the original.
