Two years using these sleeves and I'm buying more.No real use directions? Here: Trim 2 - 3mm off bottom of sleeve (scissors work fine). Run hot water - or use hot air - over sleeve (have strong hands) and snuggle on.Great seal. Easy, no: grease/ clean-up/ contamination/ joint seizing/ glass breakage.Trimmed and installed, no need to remove to clean, but you can. Why one'd want to clean parts that have been 100% sealed (clean Teflon or clean Teflon and Glass?) escapes me.I have more than 40 uses on several, all work perfectly. Even for boiling flasks.My only failures were not trimmed from the outset.For Vacuum work, they purge any bubble gaps quite well - better than grease.No complaints ... fast shipping from this seller too.

As described. Love these, don't know how i got by with out them. Up dated > Tried to reorder and they canceled twice and doubled the cost! I will never buy again.

They fit snugly around my 24/40 ground glass joints, and seem to make a good seal. I am using these under vacuum, and haven't had any problems so far. I did have to wiggle the sleeves around a little bit to get them to fully seat, but I think that's normal. I also cut a small amount of material off the end of my sleeves so that there was nothing sticking out from the end of the joint.
