I really wanted this to work. Price was reasonable, it looks great and seems well made. But machining not accurate enough for me. Too bad, had to return it.

I tested against a factory edge on plywood. Couldn’t quite believe how out of square my Makita track was with this “square” attached. 5mm out over a distance of 115mm.Checked and double checked my results and it really is that bad.It’s so bad that you I easily see deviation against a basic rafter square.

It seems like the major track saw accessory companies avoid mentioning if their items work with Wen track saws. This one works with my Wen track, and it is square. Thank you!

I only tried it twice but both times it was perfectly square over 2 feet. The track clamps that I have fit in as well.

I was naturally weary of purchasing a precision square instrument but I have to say I was immediately impressed and enthused by this track saw square's performance. I have not had it long at all but every use of it so far has been exemplary

90° on the dot (wish my digital angle ruler had a higher precision). No slop with the latches, and good weight given it's entirely metal. Solid unit!

Good: has adjustable rail to get square to guide rail. Uses two countersink bolts from backside.Bad: short rail makes difficult to obtain squareness over the length of my 55” rail. AND there is no way to lock in the adjustment so it doesn’t stay where you put it very long. :(

Update: There is still one substantial flaw: the indentations in the edge to accommodate a track clamp are not quite deep enough to clear the radius of the clamp. At least it is so for Makita track clamps.Glad to see these folks upping their game. The build quality remains very good. All the edges are neatly chamfered, no burrs anywhere, and only the slightest milling marks at the edges; you really have to look close. There are also several threaded holes with no stated use, all very clean, though I imagine they could be used to attach further jigs, offsets, and/or measuring tools.This new iteration fits my Makita track very well. The clamps hold secure, and they have a very crisp detent at the locked position. I checked the angle with a vernier protractor, and it was *DEAD ON* 90 degrees. The aluminum is a stout 8mm thick as described...in places. I don't know what to make of it, but the free end of the plate is 0.294" thick which is about 7.5mm, and the bottom surface seems to be a little concave for almost the entire length of the product. It shouldn't affect it's functionality in the slightest, but why would this be so? Just kinda weird. Regardless, it will do everything it it is intended to do, at a very reasonable price.

This square worked great with my makita guide rail and Milwaukee track saw. Easy to use, perfectly square, quick set up for track saw cuts
