Easy install on a home built computer desk....way better than a clunky powerstrip sitting on the desk.

The install was quick and easy. Cut out where you want to put it, insert, plug in. No issues there.Adding extra outlets is always good, I'm happy with the fact bow I have more space and more slots to plug things in - and at a desk you always have more to plug in.BUT... The USBs were disappointing. At first they seem great. They fast charged for me (no super fast though), and I was happy. But then I noticed after I plugged several things into it that it wasn't fast charging anymore. Sure enough, it looks like as soon as 2 or more items are plugged in, it diverts the power and divides it among the other USB slots. Quite disappointing. Now one of my outlets needs to be taken by a super fast charger to make up for it.

I just recently bought a small desk from a large retailer and it is perfect in size for the space that it needs to fit but there isn't huge desktop space and the wall plug is in a hard to get at space. Out comes the router, a new hole in the desk is born and careful measurement resulted in a very nice, flush fit of this power bar, I absolutely love it. Now the family member has easy access to 6x AC, 4x USB & 4x USB-C ports for a total output of 30W, allowing for quick charging on some of the selected usb ports. All without having a mess of wires to the wall and a daily fight to get them there. I love this design, the aesthetics are very pleasing, this thing looks like it was a factory installed feature of the desk and the whole thing provides plenty of power and outlets for the user's needs. The plug from the bar to the wall is about 5ft and the plug head itself is a relative low profile one. Designers spent a little time on this one.A smart, versatile and cost effective solution that feels like a game changer when you have a number of different devices that you might want to frequently switch out.Definitely recommended

There is a receptacle in a cabinet under my drawing table, I've never really used it, in fact; until now I wasn’t even sure it was there. I’m assuming it was already there and the previous owner built the drawing table and cabinets around it. This desk top power bar has given that receptacle purpose!I installed the power bar at the end of my drawing table and plugged it into the receptacle in the cabinet below, it really cleaned up my table as that is where I charged everything before and It was just a spaghetti of wires and a conventional power bar with blocks and adapters, just a mess. This flush mount power bar is super clean and charges all of my devices, also it gives 6 120v outlets that can be used for my laptop charger or when I have visitors they can set up in that area on the drawing table with their own “mobile office” system. The only thing I am concerned about is that they’re horizontal facing up, I could see them collecting a lot of dust and degree over time, also I will have to cover them up when I spray all purpose cleaner in that area to clean the table. I’ll just have to be diligent at frequently blowing it out with the air duster to prevent an accumulation of dust inside the ports.Overall I love this thing, strongly recommend for any work space!

A versatile flush mount power bar offering fourteen additional ports. The cardinal rule of office computing is you will always need more places to plug gear into. You might today, but you won’t tomorrow! :-)The HEZI recessed power strip can help fix that problem. This flush-mounted strip contains six AC outlets and eight USB ports in a compact seven-by-three-inch rectangle. The AC plugs are flipped to maximize the use of clunky power bricks. The HEZI has built-in surge protection and a thin two-meter cord that plugs into your wall. The eight USB ports offer a wide range of types. There are two rows of ports, one outputting 20W and another 30W. Each row has two PD ports and two QC ports, allowing you to take advantage of Qualcomm tech. The block can be mounted on your desktop, and I have used these on laptop desks. For my office desk, where the charger competes for desk space with my massive overfilled cup of coffee, I prefer to mount the charger on the side leg of my desk to avoid any spills.Screws are included to mount your charger to your desk securely. The only thing I’d suggest for future versions of this useful charger is to provide a cutting template to ease placement. In conclusion, the HEZI Power Strip is a great way to increase your ports and plugs at an affordable price. Will you ever run out of ports again? Of course, you will- that’s how we roll! And let's admit it; there's nothing more exciting than cutting a hole in an expensive office desk! :-)

And no need for USB power adapters. Nice. This power strip is very well made and designed. A very clever use of space. Every desk and workbench could benefit from this product. Even the kitchen countertop area or so many other areas in the house. The trick is finding a location to install it. It will be a somewhat permanent install because of the hole made in the surface of the installation area. I am not sure if it is a happy coincidence, but the instruction card is the size of the hole needed to flush mount this in a surface. They thought of everything. Such a great design. The outlets are space far enough apart for larger plugs and transformers. The ten-foot cord is a great length for most installations. And plenty of USB ports for most electronic devices. This makes 14 outlets in total! Nice. Can you ever really have too many outlets. And the icing on this power strip cake is the two little blue LEDs that let me know the strip is powered and ready for use.The webpage states "ABS and fireproof material, short-circuit, grounded, overload, over- voltage protection safety system". What more could I want? I don't think I will ever use all 14 outlets at once so things should be very safe. But with that said, the wall outlet behind my desk might be doing just that with the added power strips. So YES, there is often a need for lots of outlets.I like the white color of this power strip. It looks clean and neat. I have used this strip for a couple of weeks just as an 'extension cord' to sort of test its performance. It works as expected and even charges my cell phone quickly on the PD 30W USB. (5 volt - 3 amp). The power strip appears to be sturdy and well made. Great design. It is priced similar to others in its class. Great product.

I used this to extend outlets from a 2500 watt inverter attached to a 280AH 12v battery. I know that it's rated for 12 or 15 amps, but I will not be pushing that limit. It's perfect for what I needed.
