I have a sun shade "sail" that I had attached using sub-par hardware. As soon as the first thunderstorm hit, my sail almost became a kite as 2 of the 3 anchors broke. This wasn't a hurricane or anything serious, just a typical mild frontal storm with maybe 20-30 mph wind gusts at best. I knew I needed something better, and these caught my eye. They arrived quickly and, after boring for the anchors, installed quickly. I did deduct 1 star for not including any sort of twine/ rope for setups with odd attachment points needed. I used some heavy duty rope I had in the garage, so it wasn't too big of an issue for me but I can see this being an inconvenience for others that don't have strong rope laying around.

These make it much easier to hook down the shade cover on my pergola. My only wish is that the hooks on the ends of the turn buckles was a closed ring or at least closed tighter than they do so they could not come unhooked in the wind, as one already did. Being stainless steel at least I won't have to worry about them rusting.
