I received a nice thick piece of leather which I cut down to make several knife sharpening strops. There was a little extra length and, while I'm no leather expert, the leather seems very high quality. I would definitely order again.

OK. I'm pretty picky. I spent 7 years working in the leather manufacturing industry. My notion of good is "perfect." bought this leather to make a guitar strap. It was fine for the use since it was for myself. I would not have felt comfortable using this particular leather strap commercially because it wasn't consistant in it's composition throughout. Some portions were tight and strong. Some weaker with less consistancy throuhout it's thickness.It took stain well and serves it's purpose. To do better I would have to buy the full shoulder. Guitar straps (like this) need a full 50-52 inches of consistant texture and composition throuhout it's thickness.

Used this strap to make a holder for my square inside the pocket of one of my tool pouches . Nice thick material . Not rigid but reasonably flexible . Would buy again or recommend .
