Yeah yeah food is nice (after all who doesn't like food?)BUT . . . this makes a great charging station [please see picture — apologies for not making it more aesthetic pleasing]. I have a LOT of power banks, iPhone chargers, iPods, Air Tags, and other electronic junk it seems we need to run an office these days. But they all pile up, and the best place for them is out in the open when you need one "right now"!The fact that these shelves also make great cutting boards is ancillary information. This is a decorative solution to the problem of "device clutter" when you need your equipment to be available but not unorganized. Could I use a drawer system? I have. I like this better. This is what works for my office. It is far more decorative than the wall behind it.CONSTRUCTION: The shelves (I am calling them that) are made to be cutting boards, and thus they are extremely sturdy. This is a hard wood (versus a soft wood) and if it is made to stand up to sharp blades repeatedly pressed into it, it should easily survive the mild abuse of daily office use. The cut outs underneath hold the shelves in place very well, but as long as you **lift up**, each shelf comes away easily (so if you are one of those humans who eats food at all during the day, you want to make sure you don't bump this too hard if there is food on it).The top dowel seems to be the weak spot. While it is strong enough to hold the (four) legs (arms?) of the shelving unit together, if this thing "were" to break, this would be where, and that is sad. Similarly the dowels that hold the shelves are strong enough for their intended use, but this is not a toy (obviously) and should not be used in close proximity drunk people or children.BEAUTY: This is real wood (which is increasingly rare), not a laminate or MFB. The stain makes this gorgeous, accentuating the natural wood grain. There are no "rubber feet" on the bottom of the legs (arms?) but none seem needed. This is an object of simplicity through elegant engineering.If you two have a nice office you would like to use this in, please be advised that the bottom shelf ("cutting board" to some) is not large enough to hold 8.5x11" or A4 papers in a flattened state, but is suitable for envelopes and small parcels. I strongly prefer mice, headphones, and other small electronic devices we all use but either leave splayed about to clutter a desk, or shove into a drawer where they make everything else harder to reach. This 3-tier serving tray looks fantastic in person. We used it for a Valentines Day tea party with some friends, and everyone commented on how nice it looks. The three trays have notches on the bottoms that hook over the three sets of rods going across the V-shaped stand. Everything feels sturdy when assembled, and the trays felt secure in their placement on the stand.The distance between the trays is perfect for holding smaller foods like finger sandwiches, scones, tea cakes, etc. Oversized cupcakes with tall frosting will probably not fit easily though.My only minor complaints are that the stand could really use a little more polish, but for the price it's not a huge deal. Firstly, the three trays feel a little rough to the touch. When I have some more time, I'll probably give them a quick sanding to smooth them out and then reseal them with a beeswax polish. The second issue is the screws used to hold the stand together (see the attached photo). They aren't countersunk, so the screw head actually sticks out a little bit. Also, it'd be nice if the hardware were brass or had a decorative end to look a little nicer. This is also something that you could easily fix with the right tools. Overall though, this is a really nice stand, and we're very happy with it!

This 3 tiered Acacia wood stand is wonderful! I would classify the stand as "rustic", but that doesn't mean rough or poorly constructed. All the surfaces are nice and smooth, and the finish is a medium brown with the lighter and darker shades inherent in natural wood. It feels very sturdy and comes together in seconds. I'm keeping the box it came in for easy, flat storage. This server could be used anywhere for any occasion, but its wood construction makes it particularly suitable for more casual gatherings indoors or out - picnics, birthday parties, showers, etc. We recently used it to serve standard sized cupcakes with decorations for a Super Bowl party, and it held 30.DESIGN & SIZING: Each tray is well-designed with a small lip around the edge to prevent spills, and could be used independently of the stand. At 15.7 x 6.4 inches, the largest tray would make a nice charcuterie board for 2-4 on its own. I measured, and the clearance between shelves when using the stand is 4 inches, so this is made for low-profile foods like cookies, bagels & pastries, sandwiches, canapés, regular sized cupcakes and muffins, tarts and mini desserts. All of my mini dessert cups fit easily between the shelves. Even my slightly larger Godinger 3.5 oz "taster" cups fit.

I really like this three tiered Acacia wood tray. This comes with three removable trays that can be used beautifully alone or with this stand. This is a versatile piece for you kitchen and it can be used for cookies, muffins, sandwiches, croissants, fruits and other foods. It would also be ideal for displaying jewelry, small figurines, make up or diy body butters and lip balms. The Acacia wood has such a beautiful high-end look. This tray seems durable and as it has a top joint that will stay in place when the trays are placed in the tiers, it is easy to move while products are on it. This tray seems very well built and sturdy. It is perfect for baby showers, engagement parties, birthday parties or catering corporate events. This tray would elevate the looks of any buffet and is both practical and lovely. I am very well pleased with this order and I know anyone else would be as well.
