Without the two 2" extra bars it is impossible to adjust on many motorcycles. On my Honda NC750X I would not have been able to make them clear the Givi wind screen at full left & right or get the right one to fit correctly over the front brake lever (no clutch so I was able to get the left slightly closer to the left grip). To make this product perfect they should provide all black nuts & bolts but I will use some black paint to make them look less obtrusive. For street bikes that don't need heavy duty crash hand guards this is an elegant and simple solution. Very pleased.UPDATE: On a 15°F Feb day when getting in my car in the garage I elbowed the right guard and it snapped off vertically about 1" from the screw hole. Contacted the seller to ask if I could buy one plastic guard but no response. Removed 1 star. May not have happened at 70° but now considering if I need stronger guards or invest another $24 for replacements.

The hardware is all included but no instructions... So watch a video ( from someone at YouTube). Mine was out under the mirror base, removing the screws and adjusting it back together will take time.. quite a lot.. but the final result is better than expected, it's not too big and I hope it will deflect some wind from my hands.

These are really nice. They protect your hands from objects flying off the road and they help keep the wind off your hands to keep your hands warm. This pairs nicely with a windshield. The handguards with the windshield is a better option than a fairing in my opinion. You have better visibility with the windshield. The handguards protect your hands and help keep the cold wind from blowing on your hands.

They do the job as expected but on could be a little wider vertically to allow wind stream to fully blow over the hands. Very easy installation. Worth the price.

Easy install and seems sturdy but haven't given it the 80mph test yet.

Mounted on a little low because I wasn't sure exactly where it needed to go. The one that's mounted higher is noticably different with wind deflection.

I like these and will put then back on for cold weather but they do cause wind buffeting. It isn't much of a problem but increases wind noise in my helmet by pushing more wind up to my head.
