I had some metal ligatures that were sort of corroded, and it looked like these might fare better in our humidity in the Mid-South. They came in a 2-pack and since this part number fits Tenor Sax AND Alto Clarinet, that worked out fine for me, so my Sax and Clarinet got new ligatures and the work fin. They seem to put more direct pressure on the Base of the reed than the standard metal ones, so maybe the reed will vibrate better.

I usually buy Rovner but I thought I’d give these a try. Mistake! They won’t tighten enough to keep the reed from moving on the mouthpiece even when the adjusting screw hasn’t bottomed out. I think the synthetic leather is too elastic.
