I was so hopeful these connectors would work, but they made a huge mess with water no mater how many times I tried and with multiple glass bottles with my SodaStream. I was bummed. I ended up still wanting to upgrade to the glass bottles, so I found a Prime Day deal on a new SodaStream that works with glass bottles directly…no connectors needed.

This says it is for the Crystal Glass Bottle in the title but the pictures keep mixing between the glass bottle and the plastic soda stream bottles. Don't believe the pictures. It's for the Crystal Glass Bottle ONLY. It will not work on the plastic soda stream bottles or any other non-Crystal Glass Bottle.So, while we got too excited and ignored the title, don't be like us and get swept away by the potential in the pictures. I knocked stars off because the description kept using pictures of the plastic soda bottles despite written text for the Crystal Glass Bottle. The plastic bottles are very standard with soda streams, so this might snare other people who get excited seeing the pictures.

I made a mistake -- for some reason, I thought the glass bottles were included. Unfortunately, they were not.Now I can't figure out what glass bottles do fit. The description mentions 0.7L bottles, but where can I get these? A search on Amazon for 0.7L glass bottles doesn't show any obvious choicees. I tried to other bottles that I have around, including wide-mouth soft drink bottles, glass kombucha bottles, and others. Nothing fits so far. The threads are different.I confirmed that these adapters do fit on my Soda Stream Terra, so if I can find the right bottles they should work. The adapters themselves are nicely made and come with thick rubber washers. However, the price is crazy expensive at $28.99 for two pieces of plastic and two pieces of rubber. I got these for free (other than the eventual requirement to report the retail value as income at the end of the year) as part of the Vine program, but I think they are expensive even for the cost of the tax I'll have to pay on reporting these as income.If I can't find the glass bottles soon, I'm going to return these just to avoid the income tax liability on the $28.99 reported value.

I had the Aqua Fizz for over 4 years and it was time for me to get another one based on our usage. It just was not working well. Just being able to have the flexibility of just not the glass bottles was a requirement. I purchase the quick connect and am able to use the original glass bottles from the Aqua Fizz as well as the new bottles for the E-terra. Some people have stated they have had issues and had not worked well. I would say make sure you put the little rings that create a seal on the adapter so that you do not have the air leakage. I am thrilled to be able to be able to use the glass as well as the bottles that go with the E-terra.

I bought these adapters to move to using only glass soda stream bottles. After reading reviews I was a bit skeptical that the new bottles would have enough vertical clearances in the old original soda stream machines. Mine has a tilt nossle for reference. I was pleasantly surprised that the adapters and glass bottles work fine!
