These bowls were not the size I needed so we returned them but they did look like good sturdy bowls.

These bowls are a nice thick acrylic, and appear to be well-made. I love eating giant salads and find it hard to keep everything in the bowl, but these are more than sufficient in size (and obviously can be used on a large table setting with side salad for a whole family or group). I like the width and more flat base, as it feels secure from toppling and for my giant one-person salads, I can see most everything and pick out bites that have a little of each ingredient. They would also be good mixing bowls (due to the flat base and stability) or serving bowls for punch, pudding, cottage cheese, etc. Really happy with the size, shape, quality, and possibilities for use. And there are two of them!
