Good product, make sure you order the correct voltage and wattage you need

Description says it’s a dimmable driver, but doesn’t say a dimmer is required. I purchased two of these transformers, direct wired to 120 and no bueno. I have. No DC voltage being output. They don’t work with my Armacost led strip lights. Returning them tomorrow.

This is a good quality LED Driver. I used this to power a FCOB LED strip for an under-cabinet project.I have pictured the LED driver before I put the conduit over the wires so you can see them going in/out.I really liked this design as it has the white housing and gives a nice finished look, even though you can't see it unless you know right where to look. The Power connection is sturdy, the screw terminals are solid and the power wire is held into place with the plastic cover. The LED connection is sturdy, the screw terminals are solid and the wiress going in are held into place with the plastic cover. The plastic covers each leave an appropriate amount of space for the gauge of wires for both the power side and LED strip side. The mounting holes are also easily accessible and worked great for securing under a cabinet.I have the driver connected to a dimmable power switch, and it is driving about 8ft of FCOB LED strip. It is working very well at both full power and low/dim power. No flickering at any point in the strip.I am very happy with this LED Driver.

This is a nice LED light strip power supply providing 96 watts in an easily mounted package. This unit needs to be wired in, so be sure you have the skills to do that properly. As far as dimming goes, the caveat is this power supply requires a triac dimmer. If you search for a triac dimmer you may get confused. This might help: Triac dimmers are also known as forward-phase dimmers. Forward-phase dimming is the most common dimming method and is also known as incandescent dimming, SCR dimming, and phase control dimming. So if you find a dimmer that meets any of these descriptions, you LIKELY have a triac dimmer. You'll need to dig a bit to be sure. There's plenty of power to light my dimmable cabinet light strips.

Description says 3.3 in in length when it is actually just over 6" in length.

Very good, but know that the labeling says it needs both and enclosure (because 120V) and ventilation (because it gets hot, and efficiency drops above 40 C). It's maybe small enough to fit in a 1-gang wall outlet, but when how would that get ventilation? I needed mine for an in-cabinet installation anyway, so I got a PVC outlet box as shown. Works great once I found that.

This was perfect for my application of a 24v under counter LED strip in our kitchen remodel. It also was a perfect fit in the back of the double gang outlet box with one bay an appliance plug and a motion sensor switch attached to the transformer. A very clean install.
