A generally good product at a good price. It’s a little tricky and take some time to situated so it works automatically. The weighted on off switch sometimes gets tangled and will not auto turn off.

My basement has flooded many of times after installing this. It pumps the water out but only after I assist with the float to manually turn it on. Not once has the rising water trigger the float to turn on itself. So as long as I can remember during a rain storm it works great but don't trust it to work on it's it's own.

This pump worked perfectly for our hot tub water change out. Instead of taking 2 hours, which is what it took to drain 600 gallons last time, it drained the tub in less than 15 minutes!

I ran a hose line from upstairs to the basement through the floor. This makes water changes so much easier for a 125gal tank. Takes less than 20 min now to do a 20% water change. This pump brings the mixed saltwater in the basement, back up to the tank without a huge pressure forcing water into the system. Very happy with the purchase.

Works as advertised. Had water in the basement from continual rains. This pump did the trick. Kept the water down to a manageable level. Auto on/off works well too. For the money its a great but.
