Installation Steps

Without tools, pull open the blade fixing groove.

Expand related accessories in this order.

In the order of 2 steps, place the blade (B) between the metal sheet (A) and the slot (C).

Put the assembled fixing groove into the groove, and the installation is completed.

Super easy to use and removes algae really well! I have a bow front and I was worried that it wouldn't scrape on the curved edge but it did great!

I have tried them all, the Flippers, the MagFloats, the generic brands and a few months ago one exactly like this - but it uses screws instead of all sliding together. Of course, the first thing i did was to lose a screm so it was pretty much useless. Enter this beauty, and at a bargain price, it is like slicing through butter with a hot knife and you get to watch the algae fall away. This was a particularly clingy reddish algae that the snails never could get rid of and it was a pain as nothing would take it off except scrubbing with a Brillo pad.This gem with its easy-to-assemble sliding mechanism was a joy to use and watch it destroy this red algae even above the waterline. Five stars, and for this price I am ordering a second unit !!! No photos, sorry, i got carried away cleaning the whole tank before i thought to take a pic :(

This work great. It was exactly what I was looking for. I have a 60 gallon tank with aggressive Ciclidi's. I try not to put my hand in the tank if I don’t have to. I mean they only nibble, but it still freaks me out a bit. This works perfectly. It cleaned the algae off the tank so easily with little effort. The handle extends so it is great for my aquarium. It gets into those hard to reach places. I love this and would definitely recommend .

Scraper works very well, the angle needs to be very sharp or it makes a scraping sound against the glass and is not effective. The blade needs to be inserted between the two other parts with the metal dimples pressing on the 2 hole in the blade to hold it in place. To remove the blade holder, you will notice that one side has a plastic section that can be pulled out. Have a look at the instructions in the item's description, it is not well explained but the pictures help you get it right. If you wipe down the blade to dry it, be careful it can cut and aquarium cuts can lead to serious health issues.

Man this is by far the best algae scraper. Extra long handle . I dont even get my hands wet. Plus its super thin so i can get those hard to reach areas. Highly reccoment.1

Cuts through and easily removes coralline algae like a warm knife through butter. Makes very fast work of what I find to be a tedious chore. Con: Refill blades not available.Amended: Sep 25, 2023First new blade reflects early user experience. Only good things to say. However, when time to chage the blade, it was stuck in the scraper containment gizmo. Blade and metal components of blade holder are rusted even though I carefully rinsed in fresh water after every use. This experience should bring the rating to 0 but when new that thing is fantastic!

Easy to put together without tools, which is nice. Nice long reach with both handles, or you can just use one handle. I used it once, rinsed it after and barely dried it. I did not see any rust. Now the one thing you should be careful about is this scraper will peel the silicone off your tank like nobody's business! I didn't think I was close to the edge and part of the silicone peeled off. Then I did the other side of the tank, and managed to peel off some more! I'm talented. So far so good.

Worked great for some stubborn algae on my glass that all of the scrubbing with my magnet couldn’t get off. A little tricky to get the blade in. But it did the job. My glass has never looked better.
