Good solid mounting tabs, tested well to spec, working well. See Details below.LIKE:I tested this transformer at about 75% of the 40VA capacity for a couple of days. (I had two Hi-wattage 10 Ohm resistors in series, so the load was 20 Ohm.Input Voltage: 121.4VAC (The primary winding current was about 0.2A under load.)The NO-load secondary winding output voltage was: 28.1VACThe Loaded secondary winding output voltage was: 25.63VAC (20 Ohm Load measures to 1.28A through the secondary winding)VA= 25.63V x 1.28A = 32.8 Watts used (of the max 40W capacity), so just over 75% capacity.For transformers and power supplies, that percentage is about the maximum I want to run at. Basically, the closer to “maximum” it runs at, the shorter I’ll expect it’s life expectancy to be. I expect to get years.The maximum temperature this transformer reached in my testing was only 96.1F in room temp of ~71F.For ME, this works fine in a furnace to turn on/off a humidifier water valve that needs under 10VA.It then may also leave me enough extra capacity if I decide to go ahead and install a UV light to this system. (Not all UV lights systems are the same, and I haven’t bought one yet, values may be higher.)The bottom side tabs with a hole to screw it down with are heavier metal. (not flimsy and easily bent like some I’ve seen.)I like the spade lug connectors on the transformer. It makes it easy to connect after crimping on spade lug connectors on 4 wires.Primary coil measured: 20.3 OhmSecondary coil measured: 1.0 Ohm----------------------
