This transformer gives you multiple options for installation possibilities. The output of this transformer is 24 volts AC, however it has three possibilities for power with 120, 208, and 240 volts of input power. This versatility allows you to tap power from different powered equipment to gain a 24 Volt line. This multivolt capability is convenient for heating systems with high voltage and you need a 24 volt line for a thermostat. Once wired to the correct input voltage, it produces an even 24 volts at output. It has great functionality because it gives you choices for wiring to give you the most efficient options. This transformer saves time and money because you don't have to have various voltage transformers on hand, this takes the place of three. The only downside is that I wish it had screw terminals rather than multiple wires, however capping off the unused wires is not a problem. This is a good transformer and works as intended.

This is a great 24VAC 40VA transformer, with input taps for 120, 208, or 240 VAC inputs to a single 24VAC 40VA secondary. The thing I really like about this is the multiple input tap, which was exactly what I needed! The versatility of this is great. The only thing that would have been better is to have a center tap on the secondary, but those aren’t very common anyway. This is 5 stars!
