These antennas are too short to work on VHF. They work the best at 811mhz. Will not repurchase and would not recomend.

Be sure to measure these antennas also check VSWR. The antennas in my package were much too short to use for ham radio VHF. Mine measure 17½" including the base. Ham radio VHF should be ~19".

Other reviews are correct are about the rubber o-ring. It is total garbage. Wrong diameter and brittle. The rubber on the antenna is brittle as well. Would not buy again. Gave 2 stars cause antenna radiates.

Antennas are great, but cannot say as much for the gasket that comes with it. The one I received was dry rotted and cracked and broke as soon as I it a small amount of pressure on it while tightening down the antenna to the base mount.
