The listing shows that this works with the GFCI outlets. This isn't entirely true. You can plug it into it but you cannot secure it with the screws. It also doesn't sit flush like it does with the other type of sockets. Between these 2 issues, you have to hold it in place to unplug anything and if you put anything on the shelf, it will push against it from the weight and it will slowly unplug it from the socket. You have to constantly push it back in. It fits. But it doesn't stay.

This item is working out great! There are enough outlets to utilize. It is not too big nor too small. The shelf is so useful but you can also use it without the shelf. You just plug it right in- no hard installation. It looks good and works well!

Decided to get these for 2 different outlets in the house that we kept having to pull the plug out to plug another into. Now we can keep those items plugged in on the sides, which keeps cords out of the way, and it looks neater, plus there is now a free outlet right in front. The shelf is handy if you want to charge something, and the night light works great. You can turn it all the way off, or leave it on low if you don't want much light shining, or crank it up. Handy little outlet. Just chop off the plastic prong on the back if you are putting it into a GFI.

I actually liked it.As I don’t have a nightstand on my side of the bed I can use it to hold and charge my phone and watch and also use the night light for those trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night.Come with 2 regular usb ports for charging, but could use a usb-c port on next update so we don’t need to use those charging bricks for some devices.

Exactly what I was looking for. I bought this to hold my Google Nest Hub and it works great. This is the only outlet adapter I could find that fits in a double gang box with a light switch. It’s exactly 2.5” wide and does not interfere with the switch at all.

It is a nice little gadget, a shelf large enough for an average phone (iphone7,8), but the surface is very slippery. A short charging cord (stiff) will move the phone on the shelf. We solved the problem by applying a non-slip matt (glued) and now everything OK. Night light is not strong and doesn't need to be either, its a night light to find your phone.. Overall satisfactory product.
