This review is for the 2 Pcs Grounding Rod,Ground Rod with 4ft Copper Spring-Loaded Ground Wires and Clips,Grounding Rod for Earthing,for Electric Fence, Antennas, Generator.I see I get the honor of the very first review. So I'm not sure how to feel about this as I could have sworn the listing said they were 4 feet long and now they've been delivered I have 2 grounding rods shy of 18 inches long with 4 feet long coiled ground wires plus the hardware/clips to attach them.I've always used 3 feet minimum or 4 feet long copper ones and that is the standard length for them. I'm just not sure these shorter ones are going to be adequate. I suppoose if you live in an area with a shallow water table, where you can be sure these are down into wet/moist ground all the time they might be ok. But I live in an area with deep water tables, we have very hot dry summers at times... so the longer length ones are the standard in our northern state/part of the country. My exhusband was an electrician too, so knew what he was talking about when it came to using grounding rods. He's passed away now, but my neighbor is one too, so I'll ask him if he thinks these shorter ones are ok.I just want to make sure everything is done right and as safe as it can be, and works properly. We were very fortunate when we decided to have some electrical work done to the house a couple of years ago as they found a serious issue with the electric where the main line comes into the main breaker box in the garage...and let's just say it's a miracle our house hadn't blown up/caught fire before! How this house ever passed inspection I'll never know because if they had bothered to actually look at it, they would have seen it!So for now I'm posting this at 3 stars and I'll adjust it if needed after I get my neighbor's opinion. I was going to check with him anyway on account that these aren't copper. But they seem like good solid rods and all. They have a good size eyelet on the top.Regular price $ 32.99 per the listing annd there's a $ 5.00 off coupon. Will reserve any further opinion for the moment as it's winter and these can't be used currently as the ground is frozen.As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. These are super handy. I usually don't bother to ground my generator, because I can't be bothered, but these make it easy. Once installed, you can use the spring clamp to quickly attach and detach it from the generator as needed.I took off a star because mine was missing a nut and washer. I have my own spares, but it should have included both.
