Easy to use to hold fishing rod. Works as expected. It can insert on the sand and hold on the rod while I want to take a break during fishing.

Or why don't we just stay on dry land and sink these into the sand, dirt, mud or whatever we want make sure that our rod stays in place while we relax, sit back, enjoy a cold beverage and experience what fishing is all about. And it's not about catching fish. Well actually that is what is about as well. This nice little rig allows you to do the former and just enjoy the sights and sounds of being in the great outdoors without having to sacrifice having that beverage in your hand. Just be ready and open one eye when you hear those familiar clicks on your reel telling you the fight is on.

Doesn't work with my smaller rods under 5’ and with some over 6’. Would be nice if it was able to hold the rod at a higher angle but the rod hits the ground. I should've spent more for holders that would hold rods at a higher angle, but it does what it’s meant to do and seems pretty sturdy.

I was surprised at how heavy-duty these rod holders are (as they should be to do a good job). The forks are thick, heavy metal with pointed tips to easily stick into the ground. Holds nicely (well, depending upon what it is). I like that the points have tough rubber covers, so I can throw them in my bag without worrying about ripping a hole. I also like how much you can adjust the angle of the rod, and how it works with just about any of my rods.
