Flexible Black Corrugated Non-Kink PVC Water Garden Pond Hose (MM - Metric)

This tubing works best with Aquascape, Tetra, Laguna, Alpine, Anjon, Oase, Atlantic, Cal Pump and Little Giant.

Due to variations in fittings, some buildup may be required for secure fit. Our Non-Kink Flexible PVC tubing, commonly referred to as non-kink, kink free tubing, water garden hose, pond tubing , flex pond and corrugated tubing is perfect for use with water gardening, ponds, waterfalls, fountains, aquariums and fish hatcheries, drains, light farming and gardening and light irrigation. While it is not as strong and durable as our flexible PVC pipe, it is somewhat more flexible and lighter.

  • Metric Tubing is compatible with most pond equipment that is manufactured in Asia, Europe or anywhere outside of the US. A good rule of thumb is if you are using Black insert fittings with your project you will most likely require metric tubing.
  • Some of the popular brands that typically require metric tubing are Aquascape, Tetra, Laguna, Alpine, Anjon, Oase, Atlantic, Cal Pump and Little Giant.
  • Metric tubing runs a bit smaller than tubing made for US fittings and pumps even though they both list the same nominal size, such as 1” ID. This means simply that it doesn't slide right over most U.S. fittings that you buy at the hardware store or in some cases the fittings that are included with certain pond kits. It will seem to be too small for US fittings, but there are a few tricks and solutions if you find yourself in this situation.
  • One solution is to shave down the barbs with a knife or file to accommodate the metric hose. Also, a heat gun can also be used to soften the barbs on the fittings before filing them down. It may make the task easier.

Shipping was fast and great, quality was not that great! Fortunately bought more than needed, had to cut off 4 feet because of 2 leaks! Continue to get leaks any gradual bends, get separations between the reinforcement! Down to 15 feet out of 25 and very upset

What a waste of money, this hose doesn't support a 9000GPH Submersible Water Pump's pressure. It worked fine for about 3 hours suddenly it ruptured about 3 feet from the pump. I cut off the hose at the puncture and re-installed the end of the remaining hose to the pump since I had more than I needed for my waterfall. I experienced the same issue 3 more times until the hose was butchered in so many pieces I could use it anymore and ended up putting my money in the trash.I am thankful that the hose was exposed since I was in the process of testing the behavior of the waterfall before making the final decision to burry the hose. My final solution was to cut my losses since I had cut the hose in so many pieces and ended up hard piping my pump with 2" PVC.

Was in good shape and flexible, I would recommend. Update as of 1/29/21 just 6 months down the road this hose broke 2 times ,almost emptying a 4,000 gal.pond. I have always checked on the pressure of the hose and just 5 lbs of pressure. I looking for a different hose now because this became unpredictable.
