I got the1.5 x1.5 Works great on a 1 inch square tube steel railing. (Outside diameter) But I wish it came with a hammer drill bit for the size of the anchor bolts. The only problem is the plastic covers does not fit tight around the railing post there's a big gap. I guess it's for when water gets in it can evaporate.

I purchased this flange based on the description, which states a 2X2 inch post can fit into the flange.However the flange post slot can fit no more than a 13/4 inch post.I would have returned this product but missed the return deadline by one day.The manufacture needs to correct the misleading description of the product.

Used on a rental unit. Old rusted railing had a few spots on a staircase where the legs rusted but all else was working still. Used these to create a new leg and re secure to the cement stairs. They worked great & our city inspection was passed.
