Ordered the rectangular one. By itself it might appear reflective, but compared to the one that came with my bike, it just looks red.Images were taken at a distance of 18 feet, in a dim but not dark room, with the flash on. Positions were swapped between photos to reduce likelihood that where I was standing was having an impact.

You get what you pay for. The cheap reflector was only lightly glued to the plastic mounting bracket. I barely touched the reflector with my foot while getting on to my bike and the glue broke looks causing the reflector to separate from the mount.

Product looked used..scratches on reflector. Paid way too much for this used reflector, that is actually a weak orange in color.

Original arrived scratched with dirt between the red reflector surface and the clear plastic cover. I ordered a replacement and it had the same issues. Amount of light reflected was also disappointing.

This was used to out on the rear of a bike rack. Worth about $1.50. Paid a lot more and not worth it.

Other reviews mentioned scratches on the reflector. Good to know I'm not alone. Mine arrived with scratches also. No plastic cover.Mine also fell apart once I tightened the screw during installation. Might want to have superglue handy.
