First these are all individually packaged, each whole saw has its own plastic “ case “. I dont like that at all, its not ergonomical in a toolbox or efficient at all in the field. I use these to drill through 20ga stainless steel walk-in freezer’s/cooler’s. The saws themselves go through the stainless steel like a hot knife through butter. And no im not exaggerating. If you know how to use drill bits/hole saws you know each metal requires a certain amount of pressure and a certain amount of speed, on our stainless steel medium to heavy pressure and slow to medium speed and you’re through. Lubricant is recommended as always but our contracts dont allow us to use cutting lubricants unless its food safe… the quality of this product is outstanding for the price. The teeth do seem to feel a little on the cheap end because if you catch a snag of any size, the teeth break off or chip away. I wish i can buy individual sizes instead of a set. This lit doss come with duplicate sizes and the sizes are not exactly as advertised. The 1/2” scribed in the hole saw on my set was actually 5/8”. For my line of work thats okay because it gives up just enough play to spray foam our penetrations through our boxes. 10/10 on functionality. 8/10 on quality/ feeling of quality. 2/10 of individual packaging. I hope that individual packaging works in your favor, unfortunately for me it did not.

I am just a hobbyists, working in my garage, so I don't have the budget to buy a fancy set of hole saws, but this does an excellent job for the cost. The teeth have stayed sharp so far, and they make clean holes.

These hole saws are more like annular cutters than traditional hole saws. The teeth cut cleanly, with large gullets to aid in chip clearing. The walls are thinner than the teeth, so there is no additional friction to generate extra heat during the cut.I have been using fairly nice bi-metal hole saws to cut openings of several different sizes in 6061 aluminum boxes. No matter how carefully I go, the moment eventually comes that the teeth bind in the aluminum, which breaks if I am not quick enough to stop the drill press. These cutters are dramatically outperforming the ones I have been using. They have managed several times as many holes and, as yet, show no signs of dulling or wearing out. Note that I AM using cutting fluid as well as watching my speed and feed carefully.I see no reason why these teeth cannot be resharpened (with a carefully made jig, to maintain accuracy) to prolong the life of each hole saw. While these are not super high-precision, they do perform to much tighter tolerance than others I have used, and leave my work looking clean and professional.
