This rip fence is made of thick steel. Since they did not provide dimension, I will tell you that the mounting bar is 5/8" wide, 1/8" thick ...so you can tell if this will fit your tool whether or not it is Makita. The fence is firmly attached - it won't be wiggling on you, and they thoughtfully provided holes so you can screw on a wider or taller face should you so desire.

this fit onto my 36V makita saw. Why it did not just come with one from the factory is a bit of a mystery to me. That said, This fits the bill and does what you need it to, and a fair price.
