About this item

  • [Powerful 5-in-1 DVR] - The hybrid digital video recorder works with TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS analog and IP security cameras (up to 1080p Full HD resolution). You may add any type of security camera you want to this DVR for 24/7 recording.
  • [1080p Full HD Stream] - The DVR supports up to 1080p HDMI & VGA output so that you can connect the DVR to a TV or a monitor to get local live view. Besides, it works seamlessly with 1080p analog security cameras, providing 1080p Lite input to identify any detail you need.
  • [Compatible H.264+ Video Format] - H.264+ coding saves more videos and consumes less bandwidth than H.264 systems. It is the most compatible video compression technology that provides you with ultra-smooth 1080p Lite streaming without all the data.
  • [Smart Motion Alerts] - With the advanced motion detection algorithm, the DVR detects any difference and sends real-time app push notifications and email alerts to you. Thus, you can access the video recorder to check the motion alerts & take actions.
  • [Remote Access with All Your Devices] - It’s just a breeze to control the DVR remotely via 3G/4G/5G or WiFi through your smartphones, tablets, computers, laptops and browser (Internet Explorer). Keep tabs on your home & business when you’re working, shopping or traveling.

I am extremely experienced with security camera systems. Be careful. 1.) The app for remote viewing is flakey. The app is a knock off of the xmeye app. You can use xmeye, xmeye pro, goodeye apps. 2.) The dvr's firmware has taken away some of the features from previous firmware other manufacturers have in their dvrs. 3.) When setting up your password retrieval. DONOT give your personal information in the asked questions. 4.) Big security issue. If you have the dvr networked to multiple household devices. You'll conflict with each other. If you remote log in and someone else logs in remotely. You two will clash over the viewing. Playback, etc. To accomplish remote viewing and playback. Only one person needs to remote in. Just be careful.

I've had this for about 8 months. It works fine until it does it. Sometimes one or more cameras will have horizontal lines 3/4 of the screen I'm constantly having to unplug and replug into the DVR to reset the camera. I finally try to call for technical support and the phone number is disconnected.

An inexpensive way to quickly replace a central station while using cameras still in place from old system.

I purchased this 16 ch DVR to replace a Wisenet DVR that had failed. It did not work with my existing Wisenet cameras, and finally failed to output video to my screen. Sannce, like most Chinese companies has totally worthless customer service. They communicate only by email with a minimum one day delay, and are technically incompetent. I asked what cameras are compatible and they refused or didn’t know which are. They finally suggested that I disassemble to DVR, remove the hard drive and shake it to see if it rattled. Really? Do not buy this junk

Well it was quick to set up. It connected to my existing cameras. I like that the Dvr has a low profile on our TV console. So far it's easy to operate.

There is no easy way to playback or download recordings. The app doesn’t have the ability to view recordings and the PC program only works when the PC is connected to the same network as the DVR. The only way to view or download recordings is to be directly connected to the DVR.

It works wonderful cameras could be a little better made but app for your phone takes up a lot of gigabytes the programming is easy to run I haven’t had no problems with it at all the set up is a little bit of a task but once it’s up and running it runs great but overall I give it all stars the shipment Is on time it wasn’t late at all but if you’re not happy with the price then you need to go and look at the cameras that are thousands and thousands of dollars

Sad there are not any good reviews of these cams. They are decent quality as long as you keep the distances down to a minimum. The closer to the camera someone is, the better the detail is. Quality degrades a good bit after 25 feet or so especially at night. Also keep in mind that the live view is going to be higher resolution than playback quality. I believe this system to be primarily for inside use because the way the connecting plugs are, however I placed all mine outside and just wrapped up the connections with electrical tape and will re-post if something goes. I was also a bit skeptical as the packaging was not padded in any way whatsoever. I figured something would be broken and I was right. It was only the mouse that came with it and it was very cheaply made anyway. I had an old corded mouse that I replaced the broken one with. The instructions were in broken English and made little sense. It was easier to find videos on Youtube to get an idea of how to set the system up. Took several hours to set it up and get the cords tucked away. The dome cameras can be adjusted to face any direction after being mounted, while the bullet cams are best for straight away shots, and adjusted up or down the easiest and are more tricky to adjust once mounted. After install, Id prefer all dome cameras as they are easier to aim and can be adjusted simply at any time. The bullet cams require a screw driver to adjust. One thing I would suggest if one is planning on doing what I did and getting 6 cams on an 8 channel system in order to expand the system at a later date.......Get a system with as many cams as channels. It is cheaper in the long run as 2 more cams would have cost me another $10-$20.00. Now I have to spend $70 to get 2 more cams and the cords to run them. Also be sure to get one with a hard drive as without one it does not record. I have not hooked mine up to the internet yet but will re-post once I do with how the functionality of that works. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.
