Very functional battery isolator. When I put a battery charger on my motorhome's battery, the voltage goes up enough to turn on my DC-DC charge connected to my coach batteries. I put this isolator in to cut off input power to the DC-DC charger so that it doesn't put an unnecessary load on the charger when charging the vehicle battery. I put in a voltage sensitive relay so now power only goes to the DC-DC charger when the engine is running.

I ordered this as a replacement for the failing glow plug relay on my 1999 Ford super duty with the 7.3L diesel. This new relay works very well, and I was able to mount it in The original relay location, and reuse the original relay harness connections. This relay has been working strong for several months now, without issue, and the truck reliably starts down to below-freezing temperatures. If you're looking to affordably upgrade your glow plug relay, I recommend this one.
