Quality is great. Handles are well designed and end cap is solid.Be mindful of the shaft length. You only have 16 inches, which makes for a realistic travel length of 12-14 inches. Not enough to gain good momentum. You will need more strokes to pound in what ever it is you are pounding.

The end-to-end OUTER length of this post driver is 16.75”. However, after attempting to drive a post into the ground, I discovered that there is a second cap INSIDE of this post driver, leaving a mere 10” of potential movement to use. This means you actually have less than 10 inches of ‘play’ as you drive up and down to slam a t-post into the ground. Add the awkward angled handles, and you it simply could not perform the task. I had to finish the job by soaking the ground and a driving with a sledgehammer, since this post driver was incapable. I do not recommend this product.

Used this driver yesterday. The rounded top does not allow the driver to come into contact squarely with the tee post which does not deliver the desired impact

The unit is 16 &1/2 in tall. The strike plate is not at the top so a post will not fit 16 in into it. It is blocked off maybe 10 in tops not utilizing the full length. This makes for a very short stroke for you will pop the unit off the top of a post. I returned it immediately upon seeing it was not an actual 16 inch depth.

I got this to sink smaller stakes for temporary fencing. Hardware store drivers are a little heavier but this is all I need.

This fence post driver is not the lightest nor is it the heaviest. For me, the weight is just nice and is a good balance between what I need and what I can safely and consistently lift. For the depth at which I need to drive posts into the ground, this is just perfect for me.The seller includes a set of relatively thick gloves for use with it. That is a neat touch.If I had to comment on one thing that needs to be improved, it would have to be the packaging in which it arrived. Because of its weight, the item's box was barely intact when it arrived. It moved around so much that the busted the inner styrofoam padding and almost burst through the cardboard box. I would say that a better method of packing would make it safer during shipping. I wish the seller and/or the manufacturer would have put more thought on the quality and amount of padded packaging to use.Overall, this is a fence post driver that I would recommend.
