I had to replace the aged, dried, and flaking foam rubber surround on my VMPS large subwoofer. The repair process involved removing the remnants of the old surround, and cleaning the glue surfaces. I used clear Silicone sealant to attach the new surround. The sealant is still curing at this time, but I'm sure it will work just fine when I re-assemble everything tomorrow. The only reason for 4 stars, and not 5, is because the rolled arch in the foam rubber surround is slightly smaller than the original surround's arch. I'm not sure if it will affect the sound, but time will tell.--- It is now several days later, and the subwoofer sounds like new again. I am very pleased with this new surround on my subwoofer.
