I have been papering for years and would not even attempt to hang wallpaper without a brush like this. It is appropriately sized and the bristles stay in place.

I am not a professional wallpaper hanger but have applied wallpaper to many rooms in my home over 30 years. This brush has long bristles, 2 inches long. I find that short bristles, 1 inch, are much more effective. These bristles are too soft to do a good job of moving air bubbles to the outside. And the longer bristles are difficult to use in tight spaces.

Does exactly what it's meant to. I used it to cover my basement walls (pitted, bumpy, and uneven) with wallpaper liner, and this had just the right stiffness to put everything where it needed to go.
