Excellent coffee pot, both in size and quality. Cannot tell the difference from the brand name--if anything, the glass might be a little thicker. Recommended all around!

I cannot differentiate between this new 12 cup coffee carafe for our Cuisinart DCC-1200 coffee maker and the original carafe.Everything, the size, capacity, shape, feel, weight, lid, lid fitment, usage, all seem identical. It goes in and comes out of the coffee maker securely. The lid snaps on and off securely. The item was shipped securely, important since it's glass.Coffee drips into it like the original, it pours like the original. It's a great replacement.To find the model of your Cuisinart to see if this is compatible, you have to check the bottom of the coffee maker, so make sure the coffee grinds basket is removed if it's not clean and empty. You may see that the 12 cup (this one) and the 14 cup look almost identical, but they're not the same obviously, so check your model, rather than buy on appearance.
