We got this because my husband accidentally broke the one that came with our Cuisinart and we like it much more than the original! The lid stays securely on the carafe and there is never any spillage when we pour our coffees—which happened regularly with the Cuisinart one due to its design.

Fits and works like original carafe. The pouring lip is slightly larger helping to reduce spills if pouring quickly. The cup measurement printed on carafe is only on one side. On the original carafe it appeared on two sides.

Actually my coffee grinder/maker is model DGB-400C which is not listed but DGB-400 is listed and I guessed it should work and it worked.however, there is no Cuisinart logo on the lower ring and the handle does not have shiny silver strip which indicates that it is not original Cuisinart but is working fine.

I purchased this as a replacement for my original carafe that was 4 years old because of staining that wouldn't come clean with vinegar or bar keepers friend. I bought it because it was less expensive than the Cuisinart brand, the reviews were positive, and I thought how could it be that much different that the original manufacturer's version? Well....there is definitely a difference! I have only owned this one a month and it is already stained and won't come clean even though I clean it out with soap every day. The functionality is perfect, but I bought this one purely for aesthetics, so I am very irritated at the poor quality.

We cracked our Cuisinart 12-cup coffee pot, so I quickly scoured Amazon looking for a replacement. This one popped up and had good reviews so I placed the order for it and it arrived quickly and was not expensive. It's better than the one that came with our coffeemaker! It's sturdy, doesn't leak when I pour from it, like the original did, and fits very well! Highly recommend it!

The official product was sold out on the brand website, so I came here... it was an emergency. I broke the original in a moment of stress at night... doing the dishes... we don't talk about that. This one fits the SS-16, which is a dual-coffeemaker and it works so well for it, hits the dispenser so you don't have to hold it in place to brew. Great replacement, even though I hate buying knock-offs... it fit the bill and came quick so my coffee emergency was resolved.
