Me pareció de mala calidad en comparación de la jarra original, los plásticos no están muy firmes, pero calza perfectamente en la cafetera.

Cheap price equates to a cheap product, oh so true. Glass is very thin, need to take care in handling especially wash with TLC.

Some time back, I purchased a Black and Decker coffee pot and found it to be better than I had expected. However, I have a habit of not taking care of the pot and on several occasions, thought I had cracked it. I recently saw this aftermarket replacement pot and figured it to be cheaper to replace the pot than buy a new coffee maker. Upon inspection of this pot, the handle was slightly different and did not feel it was as secure (slight wiggle) as the original one although it was attached the same way. I’m not sure how secure I would feel with having a full pot of coffee in the pot. This will work with my coffee maker if the time comes, but will have to use it with a bit of caution.

We kind of took a chance with this carafe, just going by the listed dimensions when we ordered it, but it was totally worth it. I wanted to get a spare carafe for our generic 12 cup coffee maker. I can’t remember if we originally got it from wally-world or Amazon, but it is definitely not what anyone would call high-end. It does do a great job for us and this carafe fit perfectly. I thought it would be handy to be able to swap out the carafes once in a while. This would “enable“ all of the coffee addicts in our household to continue with an uninterrupted supply while the other carafe soaks in a vinegar solution for cleaning. This seems to be well built and designed. It is almost identical to the original with a standard hinged lid which can be opened with pressure on the thumb lever at the top of the handle. The only differences would be that there are only level markings on one side of this one and the original glass seems to be very slightly thicker. This does appear to tough enough for everyday use, but I’m not sure if it would survive a fall from the countertop. The stainless band seems well secured, however, and the whole thing holds up well against temperature changes between hot water and cold. All things considered, I think this is a good quality carafe.
